Deer Fencing: Polypropylene and Metal Hexagrid Fence

We offer two kinds of deer fence: polypropylene fence, which is the more traditional “invisible” deer fence used today and the new metal hexagrid deer fence, which is less visible, stronger, and longer-lasting but more expensive.

Standard Deer Fence

Standard high-quality deer fence, the least visible of all, is well-suited to protecting summer gardens and other small areas against deer and also to protecting larger areas against light deer pressure. Standard deer fencing comes in several heights (4, 6, and 7.5 feet), some which are good for excluding smaller animals. Like our other polypropylene fence products, Standard Deer Fence comes with UV protection and can last up to 15 years. As with the other products, the mesh size of this fencing is 1.76 x 1.96 inches; tested horizontal strength is 450 lb/ft, tested vertical strength is 610 lb/ft. Roll sizes available: 4 x 330 feet, 6 x 330 feet, 7.5 x 100 feet, and 7.5 ft x 330 ft, with a maximum height and length variation per roll of 5%. Heavy Perimeter Deer Fence

Our intermediate-strength high-quality deer fence is known as Heavy Perimeter Deer Fence. This fence wil protect medium to large properties against light to moderate deer pressure. This fence is available in a 7.5 foot height. Less visible than Millennium Deer Fence and stronger than Standard Deer Fence (see below), Heavy Perimeter Deer Fence is well-suited to safeguarding properties of one acre or more, handling heavy snow loads, and dealing with moderate deer contact. Like our other high-quality polypropylene deer fencing, Heavy Perimeter Deer Fence comes with built-in UV protection, will not corrode, and can last up to 15 years. Mesh size 1.76 x 1.96 inches; tested horizontal strength 548 lb/ft, tested vertical strength 686 lb/ft. Size of rolls available: 7.5 ft x 165 ft, with a maximum height and length variation per roll of 5 per cent. Millennium Heavy-Duty Deer Fence

The strongest polypropylene deer fence, Millennium Heavy Duty Deer Fence is the most robust non-metal deer fence available anywhere. Designed to protect homesteads and other large areas against moderate to heavy deer pressure and to substitute for other lesser strengths where deer paths exist or deer pressure is great, Millennium Heavy-Duty Deer Fence comes with UV protection and will last up to 15 years. Like our other polypropylene fence products, this versatile light-weight fencing combines well with the deer fence components (including posts) offered elsewhere on this site. Mesh size 1.76 x 1.96 inches; tested horizontal strength 685 lb/ft, tested vertical strength 959 lb/ft; size of rolls available: 8 x 100 and 8 x 165 feet with a maximum height and length variation per roll of 5 per cent.
